Futureful.
Since January 2024, I have been the product design lead for Futureful, New Zealand's first values-based recruitment platform. My responsibilities include:

Lending Origination Program
I was the lead designer on a multi-year program for Bank of New Zealand.
The project included the consolidation of 30+ internal tools into a single digital platform for bankers.
I led the project from its early stages of customer journey mapping and design principles, all the way to UI design and implementation guidelines.

Results were significant for both customers and the bank, with greatly reduced error rates and much faster loan delivery.
Climate Action Toolbox.
I worked with SBN's climate scientists and MBIE's business experts to design and improve this tool aimed at helping New Zealand's small and Medium businesses reduce their carbon emissions.
Over multiple rounds of funding this evolved from simple action guides to a fully fledged footprint calculator and personalised action plan.
MedAire aviation portal.
I was contracted to produce the next design iteration for International SOS's Aviation Portal, a digital platform used by flight planners to assess security and health risks on a global scale.
The tool displays rich and complex data from multiple sources into an easy to use and intuitive map interface.
Close collaboration with developers was essential to push the limit of what was feasible while keeping timeline and budgets under control.
Tourism New Zealand.
I helped guide the design strategy for New Zealand's digital front door,  newzealand.com for multiple years.
Projects included a full redesign of the site and the addition of key new features which have significantly increased engagement with New Zealand Tourism operators.
Along the process I collaborated closely with TNZ's digital leadership team as well as external development and brand agencies.
KidsCan
Following research which identified the challenges teachers and schools face when requesting food for their students in need, we rethought the ordering process to put students at the core of the experience.
With a focus on reducing the cognitive load required to estimate quantities required, we delivered a streamlined process which results in less ordering errors from schools and a much more efficient delivery pipeline for KidsCan,
Following a successful pilot, the portal has now been rolled out to all 700+ participating schools.
Auckland Council
I led the research and design for a new Conservation portal - Tiaki Tamaki Makaurau.
In partnership with the in-house digital team, we created a place for volunteers, external contractors and the council to collaborate on conservation projects.
The design incorporated trademark patterns from the council digital brand guidelines while having it's own distinct identity and interactions.

Multiple projects, including a year-long redesign of the Lending Origination Process, resulting in bankers able to use a single platform instead of dozens of legacy systems.
Delivered a series of improvements to the onDemand streaming platform, which resulted in double-digit growth in engagement across the board.
Delivered an optimised experience for front-line staff by providing them with a unified, cross-channel dashboard.
Optimised the delivery process by providing participating schools with a unified portal to order food and clothing according to their changing needs.
Multiple projects, including a complete revamp of the in-app messaging system, research into customers' security and wellbeing needs, and creation of a new investing digital platform.
Redesign of global e-commerce platform, including brand new decisioning flows for purchasers of premium kitchen and laundry appliances.
